Cutting Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cutting Manager to lead the cutting department for our formal shirt production unit. The ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge of fabric handling, marker making, cutting techniques, and team supervision—especially in the domain of high-quality formal shirts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily cutting operations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to production plans.
• Supervise the cutting team including spreaders, cutters, and helpers.
• Ensure quality control in fabric inspection, shrinkage allowance, and panel matching (especially stripes/checks).
• Coordinate with the pattern department and production planning team.
• Oversee fabric utilization and reduce wastage through efficient marker making.
• Maintain cutting room efficiency, timely output, and proper documentation.
• Monitor machinery (cutting tables, straight knife machines, band knives, etc.) and ensure timely maintenance.
• Manage inventory of fabrics, lay slips, and cutting reports.
